Thanks to a special grant, Sen. Patty Ritchie has asked the District to once again distribute FREE larvicide “dunk” kits to Jefferson County residents. “When placed in standing water where mosquitoes can breed, such as in flowerpots, rain barrels, roof gutters, troughs, pools, bird baths and tree holes, the kits can kill mosquito larvae for up to 30 days.”
