The State Tree of Oklahoma boasts beautiful pink blossoms in April, 3-4 years after planting. Great ornamental tree with leaves turning deep pink/red/purple and dark green in the summer. The leaves turn yellow in the fall. Dark brown-black pods remain on the tree throughout the winter months.
Soil: Tolerates most soil conditions (acidic, alkaline, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained, and clay)
